This collector’s piece honors the enduring influence of Michael Jordan and the brand that reshaped sport, style, business, and culture worldwide.Limited to 1,000 hand-numbered copies, the Ultimate edition is crafted with a host of bespoke details. Encased in an intricately tooled leather clamshell, the cover features Baroque-inspired embossing drawn from the laser graphics of the Air Jordan XX. A raised Air Jordan logo is prominently set on the front and spine, reinforcing the iconic presence of the Brand, while a custom gold-finished medallion on a red ribbon serves as a built-in bookmark, embossed with the Jumpman logo.Each edition also includes an oversized Italian silk scarf centered on the Jumpman logo and framed with ornamental motifs and the Wings emblem. About the Author:
Adam Bradley is the author or editor of multiple books, including The Anthology of Rap and the national bestseller One Day It’ll All Make Sense, a memoir he wrote with the rapper and actor Common. He has written extensively about sports, sneaker culture, and design, contributing a chapter to Nike: Form Follows Motion and an essay celebrating Nike’s 50th anniversary. As a writer at large for T: The New York Times Style Magazine, he writes about music, art, and popular culture. He lives in Los Angeles, where he is a professor of English and African American Studies at UCLA. As founding director of UCLA’s Laboratory for Race & Popular Culture (a.k.a. the RAP Lab), Adam pioneered the study of rap lyrics as poetry.
