An everyday object, an easily recognized shape from our collective memory, that is why it feels familiar, there is something of a resemblance. Mathilda is a modern design in the architectural sense, in the proportions between the whole and the detail. Different choices of materials, textures and colors make Mathilda unique.
Arms and legs are ash or oak in a range of finishes. Seat and upholstered back are flame-retardant, stress-resistant polyurethane foam in varied densities on ash frame and a wide range of fabrics or leather.
Arm and leg connection is covered with fabric, leather or weaved synthetic cord armbands.
