Andrea Lucatello

Andrea Lucatello is an influential Italian designer known for blending technical precision with an avant-garde aesthetic. Born in Treviso in 1968, he operates from his studio in Biancade, where he applies a deep understanding of manufacturing and composite materials to furniture design. 

His work often draws inspiration from nautical shapes and vintage boat restoration, resulting in sculptural pieces characterized by fluid geometries and a strong personality. Throughout his career, Lucatello has collaborated with prestigious brands like Cattelan Italia, Bonaldo, and Miniforms. 

He is the creative force behind iconic designs such as the Skorpio table, celebrated for its complex, origami-inspired base. His comprehensive approach—overseeing everything from initial research to final industrialization—has earned him numerous accolades, including multiple honors at the International Chair Exhibition "Promosedia”.
