Ludovica + Roberto Palomba

Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba are a prominent Italian architectural and design duo based in Milan. Partners in both work and life, they founded their studio, Palomba Serafini Associati, in 1994 after completing their architecture degrees in Rome. 

Their design philosophy centers on the search for "essence," balancing organic shapes with functional rigor to create a sense of well-being.Roberto Palomba has also been a professor of industrial design at the Polytechnic of Milan since 2003. Together, they act as both designers and art directors for high-end international brands. Their most recognized work includes the Gregg and Rituals lighting series for Foscarini, extensive bathroom collections for Zucchetti. KOS and Laufen, and furniture for labels like Poltrona Frau, Zanotta, and Kartell.

Beyond product design, they manage large-scale architectural renovations, such as Palazzo Daniele in Puglia, and luxury yacht interiors. Their career has been marked by numerous prestigious accolades, most notably the Compasso d'Oro, alongside multiple Red Dot and Elle Decoration International Design Awards.
